Before the election of Zelensky to the post of President of Ukraine, the “Minsk capitulation arrangements” were called “Poroshenko’s peace plan”. Whether they will be executed by the new president is a question, said Mykola Katerynchuk on the air of Emigrant Radio.
So far, we have two ways – either to fight Russia or to implement the formula of peace that we have. The president sees himself a peacemaker. But! Without the implementation of the security component, the implementation of a peace plan is impossible. Who needs an election where hostile gunmen will meet us at polling stations? I believe that an advisory referendum should be held to reach a consensus in the middle of the country – what kind of peace we want. Because the farther from the line of demarcation to the west of Ukraine, the more different the vision of peace is for Ukrainians. We need consensus, not destabilization. And the first alarm bells are already there. There were clashes between the police and volunteers yesterday in Zolote, said Mykola Katerynchuk.
