“It is natural that now we have talks about early elections. This is a civilized way to negotiate with the government. Let’s go to the polls, and if people support you, you will stay in power and the course you offered to the public will remain”, – said the leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk on one of the TV channels.
“In the last parliamentary elections people gave a mandate of trust to MPs who promised a completely new and progressive program of development of Ukraine. And this program has been enshrined in the coalition agreement, which stated among other about the new procedure of impeachment and the tax cuts. Unfortunately, this agreement was the cover to hide the same oligarchs and the same corruption schemes. And the only way out – it’s early elections”, – he said.
“And the presidential statement that he does not “give” us to conduct early elections is unacceptable. The government has not fulfilled its promises. In particular, the President himself has not fulfilled one of his main promises – to adopt a new law on impeachment. So, now the President concentrated in his hands all branches of power, but has no responsibility for it. But society is set firmly to prevent it and finally conduct civilized democratic elections without oligarchs”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
