On Wednesday, February 13, Mykola Katerynchuk, leader of the European Party of Ukraine, Deputy Chief of the Central Electoral Headquarter of Anatoliy Hrytsenko, arrived in Zaporizhzhya on a working visit. He gave a press conference and met with voters.
Talking to journalists, Mykola Katerynchuk told why Anatoly Grytsenko would become the best president of Ukraine. First, Anatoliy Grytsenko is the only candidate from the united democratic opposition. Several political forces joined him at once: the European Party of Ukraine, the Wave, the Native Country, the Alternative, and the Euro-optimists.
«Why should I vote for Anatoly Grytsenko? Because he is a regular officer who will launch peace process in Ukraine on Ukrainian terms. In addition, he is completely intolerant to the corruption that is eating up every Ukrainian’s budget today, to the lies and unscrupulous authorities. President Grytsenko will ensure the emergence of fair courts, salary increases up to 700 euros and minimum pensions – up to 150 euros. An honest person in the post of President is the belief that the authorities will serve the people and will not confuse the state budget with their own pockets”, said Mykola Katerynchuk.
Anatoly Grytsenko is one of the leaders of the presidential race and opponents are afraid of his victory. That is why various provocations are raised against him, in particular, rumors about the sale of military property are spreading recently.
“If you cannot raise your rating, you need to lower your opponent’s rating. That’s what opponents do. In fact, the Ministry of Defense has never engaged in the sale of property. The sale of property is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Economy, which at the time was headed by Petro Poroshenko. The second lie is that a criminal case was allegedly initiated against Grytsenko”, said Mykola Katerynchuk. The Dniprovskyi district court of Kyiv has already ordered Alexander Brigynets from the Petro Poroshenko`s block to refute the false information he distributed about the sale of the army’s property and to apologize to Anatoly Grytsenko.
According to the leader of the European Party of Ukraine, Anatoly Grytsenko has a five-year plan to peacefully resolve the situation in Donbass.
“Of course, he does not promise to do everything in two weeks, but he claims that it is quite possible to return Donbass on Ukrainian terms. Anatoliy Grytsenko is a recognized expert in the world of security and defense. He understands that without a new security system, it is impossible to start developing the country. Until the issue of security is resolved, everyone – from students to investors – will flee from the country”, said Mykola Katerynchuk.
During a meeting with voters, he drew attention to the problems of the Zaporizhzhya region. In particular, these are unfinished bridges, decentralization problems, and environmental problems.
“Zaporizhzhya is an industrial region with huge potential for development and an unprecedented level of morbidity due to the state of ecology. While everyone turns a blind eye to this problem, Grytsenko as president will create a tax incentive for big business to invest money in ecological modernization of enterprises”, emphasized Mykola Katerynchuk.
