The European Party of Ukraine Won about 2 percent of Votes at the Elections to Local Governing Bodies

The European Party of Ukraine Won about 2 percent of Votes at the Elections to Local Governing Bodies. These results have been testified by the official All-Ukrainian counting data being announced by appropriate election commissions.

The European Party of Ukraine representatives won the biggest number of Deputies’ Mandates in Ivano-Frankivsk Region (27), Lviv Region (45) and Sumska Region (36). It is significant that the European Party of Ukraine was supported by over 3 percent of voters in some districts of Donetska Region which traditionally is considered to be the Party of Regions adherents.

“For the party participating in the All-Ukrainian election campaign for the first time such result is completely acceptable. There is enough to analyze, to summarize and we know how to move forward. And what is the most important: the demand for liberal European ideology being promoted by our party exists in Ukraine”, – this opinion was expressed by Mykola Katerynchuk, the leader of the European Party of Ukraine at the Party Council’s meeting.

In general the European Party of Ukraine during this year election campaign to Local Governing Bodies took part in the elections in the seventeen regions and received 140 Deputies’ Mandates to the councils of different levels.
