Dear Party members, citizens of the free Ukraine!
I sincerely congratulate you on the national holiday – the Day of Constitution of Ukraine!
The adoption of the Constitution in 1996 became the foundation of our independence, reflected the desire of Ukrainian people to live in their own sovereign, unified state. The Basic Law has given a push to the development of the branches of national law and spheres of public life.
Adoption of the Constitution was an essential step in ensuring human and civil rights, helped to further enhance the international authority of Ukraine on the world stage, cemented the legal framework of an independent Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Today these principles are in danger because of a military conflict in Donbass.
I wish all of us to keep this holiday for many years ahead, so that our common Ukraine becomes powerful and rich. We become stronger and purify in revolutions and wars, losing our best sons.
So let the high price we pay for our freedom and happy future of the next generations not be in vain.
