Dear citizens of Ukraine!
The Constitution Day of Ukraine is a historical date in the calendar. On 28th June, 1996, the Basic Law was adopted and marked a new stage in the establishment of an independent democratic Ukrainian state, a country in which an individual, his life and health, honor and dignity, inviolability and security were recognized as the highest social value.
However, not all Ukrainians consider this day a holiday. There are cases of leveling out the principles and breaking the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine even from the side of those, who should act as its guarantors. In fact, the concept of a legal and social state in Ukraine remains declarative. That is why, on this day, we must once again recall that the only source of power in Ukraine is the people. And those, whom we have chosen, should serve the people, work for the prosperity of Ukraine and all its citizens.
So let us be united in our quest to build a European democratic state. The legal guarantees enshrined in the Basic Law will be an incentive for the fruitful and inspired work of the Ukrainian people, for the sake of peace and happiness in our home.
Glory to Ukraine!
Leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk
