Control and Inspection Department appeared in the premises of the European Party of Ukraine

Today at the premises of the European Party of Ukraine (at 19b, Institutska Street, office.38) appeared the representatives of the Control and Inspection Department.

“In general, representatives of those government agencies come to those who manage public funds. The Party does not and cannot have money from the state budget. Therefore, I regard their visit as intimidation and obstruction of the political forces led by me”- said the Leader of the European Party of Ukraine, Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk.

As reported, before the Control and Inspection Department in the City of Kyiv sent to the European Party of Ukraine an official letter of request to provide the appropriate documents for the verification of relations with OJSC “General Agency for Tourism” Inturs-Kyiv “, which allegedly carried out in framework of the audit of financial and economic activity of “Inturs-Kyiv” for 2010.

“In February this year the European Paria Ukraine informed the public about the incident around the OJSC “Kyiv-Inturs” premises rented by our party at 12, Hospitalna Street. However, despite full legality of the contract, the CID has asked for the documents not OJSC “Kyiv-Inturs” itself, but the tenant, who to this day has not been able to use its legitimate right to use the leased premises. In return, under the pretext of checking the financial and economic activities of the company, they are trying to discredit opposition party in the public eyes”, – said the Leader of the European Party of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk.
