The European Court of Human Rights registered an application of Mykola Katerynchuk about Kharkiv Agreements

11/08/2011 13:36
The European Court of Human Rights registered an application of People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk against Ukraine that limits the applicant’s right to judicial protection, which is enshrined and guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine.
Recall that in April this year Mykola Katerynchuk appealed to the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine the actions of the Verkhovna Rada on ratification notorious Kharkiv Agreements. However, contrary to established practice to renew the term for appeal, due to last year’s reduction of the term twice, the court left the claim without consideration, leaving it without arguments to support its own legal position, diametrically opposite the positions of other courts. In his application to the European Court Mykola Katerynchuk claims of discrimination by the state.
