“Today around 6:30p.m., after the action in defense of the Ukrainian language 52 supporters of the European Party of Ukraine were arrested and delivered to Solomyanskyi police department”, – said the leader of the European Party of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk.
“The detainees were questioned about what they had been doing near the Ukrainian House and if they had beaten the officers of the special police during the campaign. As soon as I was informed about the incident, I, as an MP, and Andriy Lopushanskyi, as a social activist, intervened in the case and managed the release the detainees. Police found out that none of the detainees participated in the clashes”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
