As Mykola Katerynchuk announced in his parliamentary inquiry, some days before in the House of Culture of the village Pavlivka (Kalynivka district, Vinnytsia region) he, as a People’s Deputy of Ukraine, had a meeting with voters.
The citizen, Mykola Svirhun, an employee of the local agricultural company “Svitanok”, entered the hall, where the meeting was being held. He was drunk and violated public order which strongly interfered with the conduct of the meeting. At the request of Mykola Katerynchuk to behave decently, Svirhun did not react and continued to behave quite aggressively.
The MP believes that the hooliganism of the citizen Mykola Svirhun grossly violated the Law of Ukraine “On the Status of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine” in terms of impeding the powers of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, and therefore Mykola Katerynchuk asks to check these facts and take appropriate actions.
