Mykola Katerynchuk: Dishonest officials will be held accountable under the law

The candidate for People’s Deputy of Ukraine from Kalynivka, Kozyatyn and Khmelnitskyi districts (constituency no.13), Mykola Katerynchuk, at the meeting with voters said about the need of the anticorruption lustration of the officials. “We will investigate the compliance of the costs and the value of the officials’ property to declared incomes. Dishonest officials will be held accountable under the law” – he said.

“Those who are engaged in corruption – stealing money from the state budget, intended for children, sick people, pensioners, doctors, teachers and students”, – added Mykola Katerynchuk.

The parliamentarian believes that “the corruption of the current government is a normal and quite comfortable habitat. Work in the government is provided under the family principles. And some financial preferences depend on the existing relations. Therefore he favored for “the establishment of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, which will break the spine of the corruption in the government”.

“As a result of the lustration, the judicial system and the civil service will be cleaned. The number of officials in all government agencies will be reduced. The cost of maintaining the government will be reduced by half. Parliamentary and public control over enforcement agencies will be restored. They will protect not the government from people, but the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens. We will conduct the audit of the results of the public procurement and privatization, which was carried out by the current regime. Everything stolen will be returned to people”- added Mykola Katerynchuk.
