Mykola Katerynchuk congratulates Ukrainians on the Orange Revolution anniversary

Today all Ukraine celebrates the 8th anniversary of the beginning of the Orange Revolution. It was on the day of November 22, 2004, when our state got a real opportunity to develop as a democratic, civilized European country. On Maidan in Kyiv and on hundreds of other squares throughout the country, Ukraine finally received the truth, which we had been waiting for decades.

European Party of Ukraine congratulates all fellow citizens on this memorable day, which initiated the consolidation of democratic values and no alternative ideals of the national Maidan. This event, which was eight years ago, will forever remain in our history, as civic heroism of Ukrainian people.

The way of establishing a genuine European democracy in Ukraine seemed quite thorny and not simple after the Orange Revolution. But we believe in European future of our country and we will go step by step to this goal.

European Party of Ukraine emphasizes that the main issues of Maidan ideals should be not the politicians but consolidating will of citizens of Ukraine to change in the name of freedom, democracy, prosperity and European living standards.

We congratulate all of you, dear Ukrainians. It was our victory, the victory of the new Ukraine, and it will be a victory forever.
