The Day of 8th April 2013 will go down in history as the date of death of the greatest female politician worldwide – the 71st Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The historicity of her life is determined because, at least, her style of government spawned the direction of political rule “Thatcherism”, which became a determining factor in the fate of this lady.
She was called “Iron Lady” during her life, and she will stay the same in our hearts forever. The political career of the woman who became the first ever female prime minister in the European country, is striking. Despite her conservative views, she managed to make such reforms in the economy and social life of the country, which became a model for learning the fundamentals of governance in higher education institutions. Her every decision as a world-class politician was dictated only by the interests of people and the interests of her country. For that Margaret Thatcher deserves not only respect from those who knew her or had the privilege to talk to her but from the entire world.
Perhaps, the greatest achievement of her perfect political activity I would call uncompromising in her policy. Her confidence and steadfastness in making key decisions were the greatest achievements in human history – it helped to destroy the “evil empire.” In other words, Margaret Thatcher made great efforts to destroy communism, the extent of which in the 80s years of the last century became a threat to all humanity.
Another proof of the unconditional greatness of “Iron Lady” is ambiguous perception of her policy by British: Some praise, others – on the contrary condemn. But the indisputable fact is that Margaret Thatcher was ready to give up her post voluntarily for the good of her people, the unity and perspectives of her country and she made it in November 1990.
In general, her life and the political path of this great woman are hard to describe in a worksheet. Such a life should be lived.
We miss you, “Iron Lady” with a great and kind heart.
