Dear Kiev citizens and all Ukrainians!
This year we celebrate the eleventh Europe Day in Ukraine – a day of peace and unity. So I wish all of us to be a true European!
But what does it mean to be a European? First of all, it is citizen freedom, democracy, decent working conditions, social protection and fair courts.
I am convinced that only a few steps separate us from Europe. They are not simple. But Ukraine and Ukrainians have to do them to prove the world that we are true Europeans.
This autumn the fate of European integration of Ukraine will be determined in Vilnius, where signing the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine will be discussed. Currently, our European neighbors have created all the necessary conditions for this. I believe that the Agreement will be signed, and it will create all grounds for our application for full membership in the EU.
