The General Management of Security Service of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings against Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Oleh Tyahnybok, Vitali Klitschko and Mykola Katerynchuk under the Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which includes responsibility for actions aimed at the violent overthrow, change of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power. This was announced by People`s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk.

“Now all our performances on the stage of EuroMaydan are going to be examined to establish whether they are public calls for the violent overthrow, change the constitutional order or the seizure of state power, as it is written in the relevant articles of the Criminal Code”, – said the People`s Deputy of Ukraine.

The actions, envisaged in the Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, are punishable with the imprisonment up to 10 years.
