Classrooms of European history were opened in schools of Kozaytyn and Kalynivka districts

Now the schools of village Zalyznychne of Kozaytyn district and village Golendry of Kalynivka district were replenished with classrooms with a sign “Euroclass”. The project “European School”, presented at the August conference of teachers, was launched on March 13 in these districts. Two classrooms of these schools were equipped with the visual information about Europe. Stands, flags, books and teaching materials are aimed to give pupils a chance to complement their internet Knowledge by in-depth information about the economy of the European Union, European living standards and values.

Such present for pupils was made by the People`s Deputy of Ukraine, the leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk. In this way, a team of the European Party of Ukraine is going to attract students to study history and traditions of European countries and form the European spirit in its constituency.

The school of village Zalyznychne of Kozaytyn district provides studying for a hundred of pupils, who have a great desire to know more about European neighbors. It was proved last year, when a senior student Serhiy Bartyuk won the regional competition “I am European” and received a grant from Mykola Katerynchuk for a free first year at any Ukrainian university.

– When our pupils heard about the initiative of the European Party of Ukraine, they decided to join the creation of Euroclasses – said the headmaster of Kozaytyn ZNVK number 6 Mykola Synyushko. – For us it is the beginning of establishment of European valuables and patriotism in our schools. Now our history classroom has a new name – Euroclass. Next to the stands and maps made by students there will be attributes of the 28 EU countries.

– With the help of our European partners there will be European Union symbols in the class, and students will study history, traditions and geography of Europe, – says the head of the social program “European Initiative” Ruslan Chernolutsky. – I think that the current principles of state policy, which were dictated by Maydan, must be implemented by educational projects.

 

Another Euroclass was established in village Golendry in Kalynivka district. The local school educates pupils from the five surrounding villages. And the graduates will acquire education in the new classroom. Everything was done on our own – says the headmaster Victor Hontar. – To create a Euroclass parents found materials and equipment, hired recruits, built and plastered walls, attracted sponsors.

Also, the team of the European Party of Ukraine has invited Kozaytyn and Kalynivka pupils to participate in the competition “I am European”. Now, thanks to lessons in Euroclasses, preparation for the competition will be easier and more interesting. Gradually pupils of the entire 13th constituency will follow them. As 10 Euroclasses are going to be opened in each Kalynivka, Kozaytyn and Khmelnitskyi districts by the end of the year.
