The leader of the European Party of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Mykola Katerynchuk said that infrastructure development for Euro 2012 and the championship were financed for account of the benefits abolition of Chernobyl victims and Afghan veterans.
“It wasn’t clear where to find the finance, that`s why they came up with nothing new, just took money from Chernobyl victims and Afghans veterans – many billions. And all that money was redirected on Euro 2012”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
He noted that we need to understand the cost of stadiums, roads built for Euro, etc. He added that all that work was needed to be financed not by the state budget but for account of long-term cheap loans.
