The District Administrative Court of Kyiv prohibited the Communist Party of Ukraine to organize and conduct the meeting of citizens of Ukraine devoted to the referendum under the public initiative on Ukraine’s Accession to the Customs Union. Appropriate decision on the administrative claim of the European Party of Ukraine against the Communist Party of Ukraine was announced today in the courtroom of the District Administrative Court of Kyiv.
Another Court decision opened the proceedings in the appropriate case and appointed the preliminary court session to be held at the District Administrative Court of Kyiv at 8 Komandarm Kamenev St, Block 1, courtroom 7, on September 13, 2013.
The Court also prohibited the Central Election Commission to send a representative to the meeting of citizens of Ukraine devoted to the referendum under the public initiative on Ukraine’s accession to the Customs Union, scheduled for September 8, 2013.
As it was reported, on August 29, 2013 the European Party of Ukraine, headed by People`s Deputy of Ukraine, the member of the parliamentary faction “Batkivshchina” Mykola Katerynchuk, filed the claim to the District Administrative Court of Kyiv, which requested to prohibit the Communist Party of Ukraine to organize and conduct the meeting of citizens of Ukraine on the referendum under the public initiative on Ukraine’s accession to the Customs Union.
Earlier, on August 16, 2013 the Central Election Commission was informed about the meeting of citizens of Ukraine devoted to the referendum under the public initiative on Ukraine’s accession to Customs Union, organized by the Communist Party of Ukraine.
