The leader of the European Party of Ukraine, the People`s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk applied with the parliamentary inquiry to the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Valentyn Nalyvaychenko and asked to check the facts contained in this application, concerning the pressure on him and obstructing the realization of duties of People’s Deputies of Ukraine, as well as the implementation of illegal information campaign against the activities of the political party “European Party of Ukraine “.
In addition, the People`s Deputy of Ukraine asked to find out the source of the information about the alleged existence of an agreement on the inclusion of individuals to the candidate lists for Kyiv City Council from the European Party of Ukraine and the people involved in the creation and placing of such defamatory information on the Internet, to initiate proceedings against them and to subject them to liability established by the legislation of Ukraine.
The appeal includes facts that prove the defamatory nature of the published materials on the Internet websites “Censor” and “Glavcom”, that were published there earlier than the source to which they refer. (Text is attached)
