05/12/2013 23:23
“Europe can apply personal sanctions to Ukrainian authorities if they will continue to ignore people`s opinion” – said the leader of the European Party of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk today during his speech from the stage of EuroMaidan in Kyiv.
“Our colleagues in the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, who came from Lithuania to support us, today at the central square of the country proclaimed a resolution of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania on the political situation in Ukraine. In particular, the resolution calls for a dialogue between the government and the opposition, urges not to use violence, to find the guilty of beating the participants of peaceful actions and to hold a session of Assembly Members of Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, the Sejm and Senate of the Republic of Poland and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
“The resolution is a demonstration of the political will in diplomatic language. Lithuanians, as well as representatives of other countries can not directly intervene in the internal affairs of Ukraine, but they are prepared to use all necessary actions and their ability to provide a peaceful assembly and peaceful protests in Ukraine”, – said the People`s Deputy. – “Such resolution may be considered by all the parliaments of the European Union countries”.
