Delegation of the European Party of Ukraine, headed by Member of the Parliament, Leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk, met in the Parliament of Georgia with the Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Rusudan Kervalishvili, representatives of the parliamentary committees on industry economy and economic policy and fiscal matters. After the meetings Mykola Katerynchuk told reporters that he was impressed by the conducted reforms in Georgia, and Georgia’s experience must be used in Ukraine.
“For me, as a leader of the democratic party, is interesting the way that Georgia had chosen in the direction of democratic development. Besides, Georgia makes more successful steps towards the European integration than Ukraine. Georgia and Ukraine are united by common problems, including specific relations with Russia. Therefore, the cooperation of our two countries should be as close”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
Besides the meetings with Georgian MPs, the program of Ukrainian delegation visit included negotiations with State Minister on Integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures Mr. Giorgi Baramidze, Georgian Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili, Georgia’s Chief Prosecutor Murtaza Zodelava and Deputy Economy Minister David Giorgadze.
