Today, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, the leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk had a meeting with the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars Refat Chubarov and the military battalion of marines of Naval Forces of Ukraine in Feodosia, which has been blocked for three days by the armed people and pro-Russian activists.
“I met with the head of the Majlis Refat Chubarov, who informed, that the official Kyiv does not give any instructions about the reaction of those Crimeans, who disagree with the decision to hold a referendum and the presence Russian militaries in Crimea”, – said the People`s Deputy of Ukraine. – “The charges against the official Kyiv begin to sound louder and confirm the idea that the region is cast adrift. On this occasion, I appeal to Oleksander Turchinov and everyone who makes decisions, to give a clear message to people, who are in Crimea and do not understand what to do”.
“The second question concerns the blocked units. The Russian Federation leadership and their people, who are now in Crimea, realize that there is an only danger. If Crimean Tatars get weapons, no referendums will be held. That is why, today they still block the units and attempt to disarm them”, – emphasized Mykola Katerynchuk.
The People`s Deputy of Ukraine expressed his sincere gratitude to the battalion of marines of Naval Forces of Ukraine in Feodosia and its commander Dmitro Delyatytskiy for keeping the loyalty oath, given to Ukrainian people, and promised all possible support.
