The leader of the European Party of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk highly estimates the importance of the OSCE Baku Declaration on Russia. He wrote about it on his page on Facebook. “Today I had the opportunity to speak at the Twenty-third Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, where earlier the declaration of recognition of Russian aggression towards Ukraine was adopted. I note that this is a very important document for the whole international community on resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. 99 out of 109 people, who took part in the session, voted for it (one voted against and nine abstained)”, – is said in a statement.
“After the declaration it was quite easy to talk about the situation in Ukraine, as the overwhelming majority of the audience shared the position of our country, understood and supported us, in contrast to the Moscow aggressive course of foreign territories seizure “, – said the politician.
“Regarding the events of the three-month Dignity Revolution, the declaration again proved that all massages of Russian media about some fascist groups that operate in Ukraine or about the Constitutional revolution are fiction. The reason for mass discontent of people was the failure of the Cabinet of Mykola Azarov to follow the European course of Ukrainian development, that led to the violent confrontation between police and peaceful protesters”, – said the leader of the European Party of Ukraine.

“We, Ukrainians, want to live in a free country. And today’s events in the east of Ukraine and the radically different situation on the rest of its territory show the peaceful nature of Ukrainian people. We will not tolerate violence and we will fight for integrity of our territory”, – said Mykola Katerynchuk.
