Mykola Katerynchuk: “I do what I promise. Heritage will be issued in Village Councils”

“I do what I promise. From now on heritage will be issued in village councils. It will be without any fees, which had been before, without pesky bureaucrats and unnecessary references. The village heads will have the right to do it in their offices and villagers will not have to look for notaries, collect references and pay a fortune for their property”, – reported Mykola Katerynchuk, the candidate for People’s Deputy of Ukraine from Kalynivka, Kozyatyn and Khmelnik districts (constituency no. 13).

“Inheriting the land, building or property is not easy for villagers because of the need to pay for many references, numerous trips to the notary in the district or regional center and attracting lawyers. The renovation of documents for the land or building costs a few months’ time and up to ten thousand UAH, as payment for a variety of papers ” – says the parliamentarian.

“Last Tuesday due to the insistence of the opposition and my insistence as well, Parliament adopted in the first reading a Draft Law “On Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine on Issuing Heritage”. The purpose of the draft law is the inclusion of some regulations to the Civil Code of Ukraine, which would entrench entire process in rural, village councils. Villagers no longer need to travel to the district centers and spend money on the notary to formalize heritage”- added Mykola Katerynchuk.
