The Verkhovna Rada’s agenda is not being built to solve the urgent problems of Ukrainians, but to create additional agitation for the President, said Mykola Katerynchuk on the air of NASH TV channel, commenting on the changes made on February 7 by the Parliament on the country’s strategic course for EU membership. and NATO.
“The Constitution is not an agitation leaflet. Anything can be inserted into the preamble, because it is such a declarative thing. These changes (regarding membership) had to be made in the transitional provisions of the Constitution in order to open our legislation for the implementation of the Lisbon Treaty (EU Constitution)”, said Mykola Katerynchuk.

According to the leader of the European Party of Ukraine, some experts interpret the accession to the EU as depriving Ukraine of its sovereignty. But this is not entirely true. Because, first of all, it is about implementing EU directives that will address certain energy, budget and social policy issues in Ukraine.
“This is not bad because there is no corruption in the EU. And now, unfortunately, our lives are being settled by oligarchs, hiding behind good intentions”.
