“I consider it impossible to presume what kind of the Draft Tax Code will be presented for the second reading. The only accessible position of the opposition during the revision of the Draft Tax Code is to stand for the implementation of the governmental variant of the Code not starting from January 1, 2011, but from 2012. With regard to the fact that we will gain the opportunity of holding the elections to the Parliament next year and get majority and will accept the normal Code which would correspond to businessmen’s position”, – such idea People’s Deputy of Ukraine, leader of the European Party of Ukraine Mykola Katerynchuk expressed today during the round table meeting the “The Tax Code – stimulation or elimination of the economy” being held within the Parliament.
Due to Mykola Katerynchuk’s opinion ” the government is perfectly aware of the small and average businesses needs and it has consciously suggested exactly the Code Draft, which we have”. “It is not an error nor a sign of inprofficiency, it is the government’s conscious policy”, – he stressed.
“We are not to forget that all discussions around the Code are no more than distracting manoeuvre of the power, for displacing society’s attention to all those crimes now taking place in the tax sphere, namely: practice of non-acceptance of declarations, when an inspector takes the declaration exceptionally for a bribe, ignorance of court decisions, attempt to put under control by the tax service officials the converting centres’ functioning. Tax officers instead of fighting against criminal convertors want to head them and become stakeholders of profits. It seems to me that society must discuss exactly these problems, but not the soap bubbles of the so-called Azarov tax reform ” – Mykola Katerynchuk considers.
“For today power is unable to administrate the budget. There is no state budget -2011 and it is unknown when it will be. This year budget has been fulfilled only due to enormous debts”, – the People’s Deputy stated.
“These problems the power tries to solve on the account of small and average business. The first step has been already done – pension payments are entered for simplified business, the second step is a wipeout of the simplified system of entrepreneurship”, – Mykola Katerynchuk considers.
