concerning support of the National Round Table “Common Ground for European future”
Unfortunately, the Ukrainian government has not fulfilled all requirements of the European Commission, necessary for the transaction. European Party of Ukraine held a round table in Strasbourg in April this year by leading European politicians, dedicated to liberalization of the visa regime for Ukraine as the prospects of signing the Association Agreement. And during the debates we could convince the European colleagues to support visa facilitation.
European Party of Ukraine believes that the National Round Table, initiated by Yulia Tymoshenko and supported by public and political forces, will be able to significantly influence the Ukrainian authorities in the question of compliance the EU requirements as soon as possible. We believe that today Ukrainians are not allowed to miss a historical chance for rapprochement with the European community only because of inactivity of Ukrainian politicians.
That is why the European Party of Ukraine expresses full support for the National Round Table “Common Ground for European future” and takes active part in it.
