The European Party of Ukraine expresses its support for the Anti-Corruption forum, which will be held in Kiev on the 23rd of December, 2015, with the assistance of Mikheil Saakashvili, the head of Odessa Regional State Administration, democratic forces of Ukraine, politicians, journalists and activists.
We hear a lot of statements about the readiness of politicians and authorities to fight against corruption. But there are no real actions and decisive steps to do so. And it all happens, when the country is riddled by the corruption machine and when the pro-government offices solve issues only with the help of bribes and handouts. Along with that, statements about effectiveness of reforms remain only statements, and all of the reforms are aimed to increase taxes and tariffs for housing and communal services.
We, the Party of European values, share views and intentions of the Anti-Corruption Forum, put our trust in the new team and will support actively their initiatives in every action and statement.
The European Party of Ukraine will always be in positions of European liberalism, which professes freedom for every citizen, minimal state intervention in human’s life, and the protection of the constitutional rights.
