The Council of the European Party of Ukraine made a decision about the need for temporary investigative commission to verify compliance with the Constitution of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine during the 3rd wave of mobilization. “According to the Art. 89 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine creates a temporary commission to investigate the matters of public interest. After the Parliament voting for the President of Ukraine Decree “On partial mobilization”, we started to receive reports that the heads of military offices do not follow the current legislation on the order of mobilization, violate the norms and principles of the mobilization. While trained officers and volunteers can not get to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, untrained young men, who have not undergone any military service or training in the military department, are mobilized”,- said the People`s Deputy of Ukraine.
“Besides the country has thousands of professional law enforcement officers from among prosecutors, tax officers, customs officers, which can also replenish the Ukrainian army”, – said the politician. – “So we decided, using the right of legislative initiative to recommend the parliament to create a temporary commission to restrain the individual heads military offices. Our relevant resolution will be registered in Parliament on Monday” .
Moreover the Party Council commissioned Mykola Katerynchuk to consult with other democratic forces on the format of participation of the European Party of Ukraine in parliamentary elections of 2014.
