Today, the representatives of the European Party of Ukraine conducted a picket near the building of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine.
“Under Article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Article 32 of the Law of Ukraine” On the High Council of Justice “The High Council of Justice is considered to bring judges of all levels to justice for breaching the oath. Bearing in mind that on June 11, 2014 Victor Lozinsky was released from punishment, we demand to check the actions of the judge Serhiy Voznuyk, who issued the court ruling, and give them an appropriate legal assessment. In general, his can be considered as an acts that discredit the judiciary and raise reasonable doubts about his objectivity, impartiality and independence in the honesty and integrity of the judiciary, that is a breach of the judicial oath, which is one of the reasons for bringing him to justice”, – said the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the European Party of Ukraine Vitaliy Shcherbenko during the picket.
“We have also sent a copy of the deputy request of Mykola Katerynchuk on this case to the secretariat of the High Council of Justice and we will keep this issue under our special control,” – he added.
