“Now the government has actively started to prepare for the elections, and therefore tries to meet the conditions, which the IMF set for the next tranche. One of these requirements is to fight corruption. And against the background of such claims Prosecutor General of Ukraine held a demonstrative operation that became resonant throughout Ukraine. Involvement of helicopters and cameras demonstrates the efforts of law enforcement agencies to justify the failure of anti-corruption reforms in Ukraine, – said the head of the Central Executive Committee of the European Party of Ukraine, the Deputy Head of the Party Valeriy Klochok.
“And the role of the court in such cases of corruptionrs is decisive and actually reduces to zero such detentions. The whole country witnessed how officials of the tax service ith million fortune were released after several hours of the arrest. Obviously, we can not talk about the reality of such detentions and true intentions of law enforcement bodies to bring to justice corrupt officials”, – said Valeriy Klochok.
“We would like the authorities not to repleca their public relations on the eve of elections with their practical work and a real fight against corruption”, – he added.
