Valeriy Klochok: IMF became the second government for Ukraine, and not the best

“IMF has become for Ukraine not only the institution that hepls us and gives credits, but also the second government, which actually dictates us how to live. They tell us what reforms should be carried out, and these reforms are largely contrary to the interests of ordinary Ukrainians”, – said the Chairman of the Central Executive Committee, a Deputy Head of the European Party of Ukraine Valeriy Klochok, commenting on the changes to the Memorandum of the IMF regarding cooperation with Ukraine on Radio Era.

“The IMF has decided that we need to cancel the simplified tax system in which millions of Ukrainians work today. This does not create favorable conditions for businesses, especially with the recently introduced minimum wage of 3200. Only because of this decision of the government more than a hundred thousand of FLP closed down in a few weeks”, – he said.

Valeriy Klochok considers positive the requirement of the IMF on the monetization. “Getting real money, every Ukrainian will be able to manage them, either continue to pay for energy in the classical form, or yet to spend money on energy-saving technologies”, – said Valeriy Klochok.

“The only question is whether our government will be able to implement it properly. In the case of difficult economic conditions, those who receive a subsidy will have to decide to spend the money on heating, or food. Therefore, trying to get the next IMF loan, the government should first of all think about how this or that decision will affect ordinary Ukrainians”, – he stressed.
