“I believe that the pension reform, first of all, must provide us with a decent standard of living when we reach the retirement age. As any reform in the country, the pension reform should have an economic background. It is formed due to the fact how much this or that reform is attractive for investments”, – said the head of the Central Executive Committee of the European Party of Ukraine, the Deputy Head of the country Valeriy Klochok on one of the TV channels.
“We have a very positive trend of increasing contributions to the pension fund by raising the minimum wage. A part of the hole that was in the pension fund was closed. And this gave a possipillity to the government Groisman to partially increase pensions. On the one hand this is positive, but on the other hand, the funds obtained by increased taxes does not go into the economy. They actually close holes in the budget for social security payments”, – said Valeriy Klochok.
“In this context, the important role is played by the NBU, which forms the investment climate in Ukraine. Now there is a reshuffle in the NBU, so it is very important, who will replace Hontareva in the office. Taking into account the experience of the previous leadership of the NBU, it must be someone who not only understands the banking, but someone, who is a good manager. Because the main purpose of the NBU is not to make a profit, but to create a stable financial system and an attractive investment environment in the country. In this case, you can expect not only the success of the pension reform, but the winning of all the other democratic reforms in Ukraine”, – he added.
