Dear Ukrainians!
Please accept my sincere congratulations on the Day of Ukrainian writing and language – one of the most beautiful and the most melodious languages in the world.
In this difficult times for us, when we have to defend our statehood with arms, we should not forget that we are a nation with its own history, traditions and language. “Mother tongue is given to people by God, a stranger language – by people who bring it on the edge of the enemy rush”, – said our compatriot, a writer Vasil Zakharchenko. And these words were confirmed by modernity. The war in the East of Ukraine – is not only a threat to the sovereignty of Ukraine, it is a threat to our self-determination as a nation.
We should be adamant in our desire to uphold and develop our Ukrainian language. Our language is beautiful, we have much to be proud of. It is nice to hear more and more often that young people from all over Ukraine choose Ukrainian language. It means that we are united and on the right way!
